Caterham, Chaldon & Whyteleafe Neighbourhood Plan Review

The Caterham Chaldon & Whyteleafe Neighbourhood Plan (CCWNP) is being updated with the expected revised Plan to go to referendum in May 2025.  The four local Parishes are currently reviewing the Plan with the intention of putting back some of the policies that did not make it the first time. We think this has become more relevant, now that the proposed Tandridge Local Plan has been found to be unsound (by the Planning Inspector).

The new policies relate to

  • Location of development
  • Housing mix required to meet local need
  • Protecting heritage assets
  • Green and blue infrastructure
  • Managing the environmental impact of development
  • Managing flood risk
  • Promoting active travel
  • Town centre, neighbourhood centres and public realm viability policy

We will be holding engagement events across the Neighbourhood Plan are on the following dates:

Caterham Hill Friday 15th March Westway Community Centre, 25 Chaldon Road, Caterham CR3 5PG 3pm to 5pm
